About the Opportunity
As an ICT Support Intern, you will assist staff and students with technical support, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and help maintain ICT systems across the campus. This role offers practical exposure to information technology support, networking, device deployment, and customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical support for computers, laptops, printers, and software applications.
- Assist with the installation and configuration of ICT equipment.
- Support computer laboratory setup and maintenance.
- Help deploy and configure new devices.
- Troubleshoot network and Wi-Fi connectivity issues.
- Support audiovisual equipment during lectures, events, and presentations.
- Assist with printer management and administration.
- Escalate complex technical issues when necessary.
- Ensure ICT equipment is maintained according to company standards.
- Deliver professional and efficient support to users.
Minimum Requirements
- Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (completed or currently studying).
- Basic knowledge of computer hardware, networking, and Microsoft applications.
- Familiarity with Windows 10/11 and Microsoft 365.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Advantageous Skills
- CompTIA A+ Certification.
- Basic networking knowledge, including IP addressing and Wi-Fi.
- Exposure to Active Directory and Azure environments.
- Understanding of printer management systems.
- Experience with audiovisual equipment support.
- Basic reporting and data analysis skills.
