About the Role
The successful candidate will act as a strategic people partner, supporting business leadership in attracting, developing, and retaining top talent. The role focuses on talent acquisition, succession planning, employee relations, performance management, and workforce development.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement people management strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Lead recruitment, interviewing, and onboarding processes.
- Support managers and employees on HR-related matters and employee relations.
- Drive talent management, succession planning, and retention initiatives.
- Manage performance appraisal systems that encourage high performance.
- Ensure compliance with labour legislation and company policies.
- Coordinate learning and development programmes for employees.
- Monitor Employment Equity targets and workforce planning.
- Maintain accurate vacancy tracking and talent pool management.
- Partner with leadership teams to build a strong and engaged workforce.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or BCom in Human Resources Management, Psychology, or a related field.
- Matric / Senior Certificate.
- Valid Driver’s Licence and own reliable vehicle.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a leadership HR role.
- Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Outlook.
